The Directorate of Information Technology of the Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority has built an in-house enterprise system that brings the Authority's offices, people and services onto one secure digital platform, from employee records and accounts to vehicles, rest house bookings and public grievances.
A modern public portal for news, notifications, events, downloads, the gallery, the organogram, officer contacts and citizen services, managed through a built-in CMS with light and dark themes.
Road users and citizens can lodge a complaint about any Provincial Highway online, receive a tracking number, and follow it until it is resolved. Complaints are routed to the responsible officer and monitored through reports.
One digital record for every PKHA employee (postings, designations, seniority and service history), replacing paper files and feeding the organogram and contacts directory.
Employee service cards are issued directly from HRMIS records and carry a unique QR code that anyone can scan to verify the card instantly against official records.
Bills move through the accounts workflow digitally through submission, scrutiny, forwarding and approval, with a complete audit trail at every step.
The Authority's fleet is managed online, covering vehicle records, allotment to officers and offices, and fleet reports.
Plant, machinery, equipment and office assets are registered, allotted and tracked digitally across the head office and regional divisions.
Officials can browse available rooms, book online and pay electronically, receiving a digital permit with QR verification. No paper registers or manual receipts.
Directions from the management are assigned as tasks with deadlines, so every directorate and division can be followed up until completion.
Officer accounts are protected with two-step verification by WhatsApp, email or an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator.
